LineX
LineX lets you book a ride with a professional driver from Bloop. In Italy only private-hire (NCC) and taxi drivers with a verified licence can drive on LineX. You pay from your Linework wallet and follow the car on the map.

PIN, share and SOS
The ride starts only with your PIN; share it with someone you trust.
LineX opens city by city and is being switched on gradually. Where it is not active yet the tab shows Coming soon. During the launch phase rides can be marked Test ride: in that case nothing is charged.
Open LineX#
Open Bloop and tap the LineX tab at the top (Bloop · LineEat · LineX). On the web it is at the top of Bloop on web.linework.app. Your past rides are in My rides.
NCC or taxi#

Book a ride#
- Pickup: your current position (allow location), which you can change.
- Where to?: search an address or a place.
- Choose your ride: NCC or Taxi.
- Now or Later (NCC only): choose the day and time.
- Under Pay with choose vUSDC, vLWK or Gift card, then tap Request (or Book).
For an NCC you pay the agreed price. For a taxi the app holds a maximum amount (the top of the estimate plus a margin) and refunds the difference after the ride. A calculated price is valid for 10 minutes, then it is updated. You can have one active ride at a time.
During the ride#
- Steps: Looking for a driver → Driver assigned → Driver on the way → Your driver has arrived → On the ride → Ride completed. If no driver accepts in a few minutes, you are told that none is available.
- The driver card shows photo, name, rating, vehicle and plate: check them before you get in.
- Start PIN: tell the driver your 4-digit PIN. The ride starts only with the right PIN.
Share ride and SOS#
- Share ride creates a link you can send to someone you trust: they follow the ride on a map. The link stops working when the ride ends (and after 12 hours at most).
- SOS asks "Call emergency services?" and calls 112; the alert is recorded on the ride.
Taxi meter#
At the end of a taxi ride the driver enters the meter amount. If it is above the maximum shown when you booked, you are asked to Confirm the amount or Report it. If you don't answer within 24 hours, you pay the maximum shown at booking.
Cancel a ride#
Tap Cancel ride. Cancelling is free until a driver is assigned and for 2 minutes after; later a cancellation fee may apply, never more than what you paid. If you don't show up, the driver can report it after waiting at least 5 minutes, and the fee applies.
Receipt and rating#
After the ride you get a Receipt (date, service, distance, duration and payment) and can rate the ride from 1 to 5 stars, with an optional comment.

Do you drive an NCC or a taxi? Apply in Linework Drive with your licence and documents.
Good to know#
Where is LineX available? In Italy, where only licensed NCC and taxi drivers are allowed. Outside active areas you see "LineX isn't active in your area yet": we open city by city.
Can anyone drive on LineX? No. Only professional drivers with a valid NCC or taxi licence, checked by Linework.
