LineAI is Linework's assistant. Ask it how to do something (publish a story, open a store, top up your wallet) and it answers in your language, with buttons that take you straight to the right screen. It is free.

What LineAI is#
LineAI knows this guide and the features of the app. It answers "how do I…?" questions: where a setting is, how a feature works, what something costs. It doesn't act on your account for you (it can't post, pay or change settings) and it doesn't see your chats, your balance or your personal data. When a feature is switched off for your account or your app version, LineAI doesn't talk about it either.
Where to find it#
- In the app: the LineAI button next to the + in Spiral, or Menu → Settings → Ask LineAI.
- In the web app: the LineAI button next to + on web.linework.app.
- On the websites: the LineAI bubble at the bottom of linework.app, corporate.linework.app and this site. There you can use it without an account.
How it works#
- Open LineAI and write your question, as you would to a friend (for example "how do I make my account private?").
- LineAI answers in a few seconds with the steps to follow.
- Tap one of the Open… buttons under the answer to go to that screen, or ask another question to go on.
Ask one question at a time and wait for the answer before sending the next one. If something doesn't work as LineAI says, use Report a problem (see Safety, notifications and help).

Limits#

| App and web app (signed in) | 30 questions a day per account; the counter restarts at midnight. Each question up to 1,000 characters. |
| Websites (without an account) | 10 questions an hour and 30 a day per connection. If many people are using it at the same time, you may be asked to try again in a moment. |
LineAI can make mistakes: for prices and rules, the screen in the app and this guide are what count.
Privacy#
- Your conversations are not saved on Linework's servers: only the number of questions is counted, for the daily limit.
- The recent conversation stays only on your device (the last 30 messages in the app and the web app; on the websites, until you close the page).
- Don't write passwords, codes, card numbers or other personal data in your questions: LineAI doesn't need them.
Frequently asked questions#
Is LineAI paid? No, it's free for everyone, within 30 questions a day.
I don't see the LineAI button. Update the app to the latest version. LineAI may also be temporarily switched off: try again later.
Can LineAI do things for me? No. It explains how to do them and opens the right screen; you do the rest.
I've reached the limit. You can ask more questions tomorrow. Meanwhile you find the answers in the help center (Menu → FAQs) and in this guide.
