Account and sign-in

Linework has no passwords: you sign in with a link sent to your email, or with Google or Apple.

Create an account#

1. Open the app and tap JOIN US.
2. Enter your email and tick that you accept the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy (you can read both in the app).
3. Tap SEND MAGIC LINK, or choose Google or Apple (Apple on iPhone only).
4. Open the email on the same phone and tap the link: the app opens and you are in.

If a friend invited you, open their invite link first (linework.app/join?ref=…): the invite is linked to your new account automatically.

Sign in#

1. Tap LOG IN, enter your email and tap SEND MAGIC LINK, or continue with Google or Apple.
2. The CHECK YOUR INBOX screen shows where the link was sent. Open it on this phone.

• No email? Wait a minute and check the Spam and Promotions folders, then tap RESEND when the countdown ends.
• Only the latest link works. An expired link: request a new one.
• Wrong address: tap USE A DIFFERENT EMAIL.
• If you had deactivated your account, signing in with Google or Apple asks whether to reactivate it.

Complete your profile#

The first time, before using the app:

1. TAP TO ADD PHOTO: a real profile photo is required by the community standards.
2. FULL NAME: your real name.
3. USERNAME: your @name, used to find you, mention you and send you money.
4. Tap CONTINUE.

Lock the app (optional)#

After your first sign-in the app offers Face ID / Touch ID and a 4-digit PIN (entered twice). With a lock set, the app asks for it every time it opens; the same lock protects locked chats and confirms some payments. If you forget the PIN, tap Forgot my PIN?.

Quick tour#

On first launch a short tutorial introduces Spiral, Bloop and the wallet. Your session lasts until you log out; if it expires you see Session expired and simply sign in again.

Log out or delete your account#

• Log out: Profile → ⚙︎ Menu → Logout, then confirm.
• Delete account: Profile → ⚙︎ Menu → bottom of the page → Delete account → Yes.
