Linework Open API · v1
Build on Linework
A simple REST API to automate your Linework account: publish posts and stories, talk with your community, run your Bloop store and answer customers in chat.
What you can build#
Publishing bots
Upload photos and videos, publish posts and stories, edit or remove them.
CommunityCommunity tools
Read comments on your posts, reply, like and follow.
BloopStore automation
Sync products and stock from your systems, read orders and mark them shipped.
ChatSupport bots
Answer the people who write to you, without spamming anyone.
The API acts on behalf of your own account: every request is made as the user who created the API key, with the permissions (scopes) chosen for that key. Payments, wallet and tokens are not available through the API.
Quickstart in 3 steps#
- Request developer access. In the Linework web app open Settings → Developers and tell us what you want to build (use case, website, bot name). We review every request.
- Create an API key. Once approved, create a key in the same page and choose its scopes. The key starts with
lwk_and is shown only once: store it in a safe place. - Make your first request.
curl https://api.linework.app/open/v1/me \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $LINEWORK_API_KEY"const res = await fetch("https://api.linework.app/open/v1/me", { headers: { Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.LINEWORK_API_KEY}` }, }); console.log(await res.json());import os, requests r = requests.get( "https://api.linework.app/open/v1/me", headers={"Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['LINEWORK_API_KEY']}"}, ) print(r.json())

Play nice. Bots on Linework must follow the community rules and the API Terms of Use. No spam, no scraping, no impersonation. Keys that break the rules are revoked.
