Import from Instagram, X and TikTok
Paste the link of one of your posts on Instagram, X or TikTok and Linework turns it into a Linework post, with its photos, videos and caption. No app to connect and no password to give: you prove the account is yours once, with a code.
Coming soon. Import is being switched on gradually: if you don't see it yet, it will reach your account with a future update.
How it works#
- Link your account: in Menu → Settings → Social accounts (or from the import button when you create a post), choose the platform and write your username.
- Verify it with the code: you get a short code like
LW-AB12C, valid for 30 minutes. Put it in the bio of your public profile (Instagram, TikTok) or in the caption of a public post (all three; for X it must be a post), then tap Verify. After that you can remove the code. - Import a post: in Create post tap the import button and paste the link of one of your posts. Linework shows a preview with the photos, videos and caption.
- Edit the caption if you want, choose who can see it (Public, Followers or Only me) and tap Publish.
The post shows Imported from Instagram (or X, TikTok) with the original date. It also works in the web app.
Rules#
- You can import only your own posts: the author must be the account you verified (or a co-author of an Instagram collaboration post).
- Each social account can be linked to one Linework account, and you can link one account per platform. You can unlink it whenever you want.
- The same post can't be imported twice. The profile and the post must be public.
Price#
Importing is free: nothing is charged in vUSDC or vLWK.
Limits#

| Caption | Up to 500 characters (longer texts are shortened, you can edit them). |
| Verification code | Valid 30 minutes, up to 20 checks. If it expires, ask for a new one. |
| Preview | If you don't publish it, it expires after 24 hours. |
Frequently asked questions#
Do I have to give my Instagram, X or TikTok password? No. Linework only reads your public page to find the code.
Verification fails. Check that the profile or the post is public, that the code is written exactly as shown and that it hasn't expired, then tap Verify again.
Can I import someone else's post? No, only posts from the account you verified.
Are my followers or likes imported? No: only photos, videos and the caption of the post you choose.
